Cooper: Louth-1 drilling underway Martin Kovacs, 18 Sep 2017

Cooper Energy has reported that the Louth-1 exploration well, being drilled by the PEL 92 joint venture in PRL 102 in the South Australian Cooper Basin, has spudded.

Louth-1, which has a prognosed total depth of 2,671 m and is expected to take 14 days to complete, has been designed to test the gas/condensate potential of the Patchawarra Formation, Cooper advised.

Cooper holds a 25% interest in the PEL 92 joint venture, with operator Beach Energy holding the balance.
